Star Cloud Services On-line order and receipt printing CloudPRNT for WooCommerce Plug-in
Star's new CloudPRNT for WooCommerce plug-in enables Star receipt printers to print automated receipts each time an order is placed on a WooCommerce based website. This can be used to quickly create a remote order/receipt printing solution for restaurants, take-aways, bakeries and similar businesses, with minimal set-up time or cost.
By offering online purchasing options, retail stores and restaurants
are able to grow their business to expand to a larger market. Star's new CloudPRNT plug-in is compatible with the following Star thermal receipt printers, mC-Print2, mCPrint3 and TSP600II, TSP700II, TSP800II with Star’s unique HI X Connect Interface.
With Star’s CloudPRNT technology businesses can integrate a flexible ordering system to seamlessly integrate online purchasing into their offering, while eliminating the need for an extra tablet to send an online order to the printer. Instead, the ordering service will be able to communicate directly with the printer to create print jobs as well as receive the status of the printer.

Installation
- Install and activate the plug-in.
- Go to your WordPress admin control panel and you should notice a new link for “Star CloudPRNT for WooCommerce” under your WordPress “Settings” category.
- Once you have opened up the Star CloudPRNT settings page, you will be given a unique Server URL which you need to copy.
- Next setup your compatible Star printer onto your network and run a self-test on the printer to get its IP address.
- Type the printer IP address into a web browser to access its web interface and then login (default username “root” and password “public”).
- Navigate to the “Star CloudPRNT” section and enable the CloudPRNT service, then paste the URL you copied earlier into the “Server URL” field.
- Press “Submit” then navigate to the “Save” section.
- Choose “Save –> Configuration printing –> Restart device” and the printer will reboot (this can take up to 2 minutes).
- Once the printer has rebooted, go back to your Star CloudPRNT settings page and refresh it, you will notice your printer will be populated in the printer list which means your printer is now setup and ready to use.
- Finally, you can now enable the CloudPRNT service within the Star CloudPRNT settings page, once enabled all orders placed through WooCommerce will also be printed out on your Star printer.
