Cipherlab Point & Scan System - Locator

Locator' is a simple yet powerful tool to keep track of any type of company property such as office equipment, software licences, factory machines, office files, document archive boxes, health and safety equipment such as fire extinguishers or burglar alarms. It also takes care of the maintenance recording, loans and returns , buildings inspections and repairs and the tracking, locating and identifying of al the organisations property.

Very little training is required and the user interface is similar to the familiar Windows Explorer . It can be tailored by the organisation to meet the individual needs. There are five views of the data -
  • Data items by Owner (for example a company or a department or client)
  • Data items by Keeper (the user or borrower of the item)
  • Data items by Item Type (for example "PCs" or "Fire Extinguishers" or "Loose leaf files")
  • Data items by Location (by Site, By Building, by Floor, by Room)
  • Data Items By 'Collection' (Groups of items in a collection like a Sales demo Kit of Projector, Whiteboard and Laptop)
  • Point and Scan System (Portable Data Terminal to be purchased separately)
  • Ideal for Equipment Tracking & Maintenance
  • Multiple Views of the Data
  • Item History Record
  • Issue & Return of Items
