The OMNIKEY® 5022 CL contactless smart card reader provides convenience, speed and security for applications such as PC and network log-on, email encryption and digital signature, while also supporting contactless physical access and contactless PKI cards. Utilizing a new state-of-the-art design and a robust set of features supporting multiple technologies, the usability of the reader is extended far beyond its standard desktop operation.

Accessories such as an adhesive plate, screw mount and card holder options ensure perfect alignment with different use applications and their required mounting options.

The OMNIKEY 5022 is interoperable with a number of smart card technologies, tags, and NFC-enabled smart devices. By supporting numerous credentials based on common ISO14443 A/B, ISO 15693 standards, the reader is an ideal entry-level choice to support a small footprint in desktop environments.

The OMNIKEY 5022 is integrated and tested with HID Global’s ActivID ActivClient, ActivID Applets and HID Global Trusted Tag® Services.
