AXIS Companion IP Based Solutions record 100% digital high definition images from start to finish. This provides the quality required for ANPR/LPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and for camera images, to be used as evidence. IP Camera’s from there conception were designed to produce images that were better quality than traditional CCTV camera’s. AXIS Companion IP Camera Solutions offer lower cost installations when utilising existing infrastructure. Some simple “plug into network” camera’s can use POE (power over Ethernet), reducing the cost per camera, as providing power local to the camera is not required. Customers can start with one camera viewed in a web browser and build up to hundreds of camera’s across multiple sites; recording in different formats from Mpeg4 to H.264 in varying frames rates and enjoying features such as motion detection, email alerts and much more.
